SALT Bakery is the bakery of the Michelin and green-starred SALT Budapest restaurant. Bread has been a central part of the restaurant's menu since its opening.
In our bakery, quality, sustainability and traditional baking expertise meet the world of contemporary gastronomy, each product is prepared with the utmost care, following the principles of sustainability.
In addition to sourdough breads, baked goods and coffees, we also operate a Deli with a selection of special products from domestic producers: dairy products, high-quality meat products, sandwiches and biscuits.
Our locally baked products are freshly prepared every day at dawn, which you can also enjoy on site in our bakeries.
Furthermore, you can find our breads and pastries in many restaurants and cafés in many parts of Budapest.
SALT Bakery was established under the professional leadership of Szilárd, so the new unit naturally follows the Salt philosophy.
Lea Lefkovics, who you may know well from her career as a pastry chef at Salt, has been with the bakery since its inception, and is now present as General Manager - you can find the Babo Bakes cookies she makes at the Bakeries.
